As of friday i went to my local super market C-town to get my ingredients
After all o of my ingredients are gathered and boought as well their were some that i already have to be used. heres what i need for the food im about to prepare
The Omurice Ingredients
Chicken cut lit- only 1 slice is needed
Sliced Mushrooms - up to 1/2 cup
1 Onion - only half of the onion is needed
Rice - 1 or 2 cups of rice
ketchup - 1 bottle
Eggs - 3
Milk( It doesn't matter which kind of milk it is fat free, low fat etc) - 1 TBLS SP
The Salad ingredients
Lettuce
Cucumbers - 2
Carrots - 1
Now prepare your Mise En Plus ( To those who don' know this means everything in place of sometimes items gathered its an chef saying as i am a graduated chef from star career academy)
I hope you prepared for your rice of no then i suggest it be prepared, put 1-2 cups of rice in a large pot enough for the rice when its increased in size so it does not fall out, then use 2 or 3 cups of water in the pot. now heat it up and don't put nothing in no salt or peper where their needed its not going to be needed at all. The rice usually takes up 3O minutes or less depeneding on your stove ( why i said that its because some people's stoves actually heat up more faster than others) to find out you rice is ready check if theirs bubbles flowing on top and i mean lots of bubbles until it covers the top or us a spoon if the rice increased in size and has less water now. Shut of the stove an place the prepared rive in a strainer to let the extra water out and cool for a while you can put it on your sink if its clean and has nothing on it or grab a big bowl or plate and put at the bottom of your strainer to get rid of the extra water out.
First cut Half of the onion in half not to the side but the to por bottom then hold down and be careful not to let your fingers near the knife. Place your knife right to the top of the onion then slice it all the way down. now for your onions you can cut into whatever way you wanted for myself I made it into small squared (I Forgot what its called yeah a chef that doesn't remember the names laugh it up). Ok on to the 1 piece of sliced chicken it must be sliced into small cubes style don't worry if you mess up its ok if is sliced inot small long slices thats works well too
Ok time to cook heat up the stove use a big pan as well a spatula and use up to 1 tablespoon or 2 saute'(it means cook)
your onions up to that placed your sliced chicken and cook until its an very well white of you want to see if its good with your spatula cut a small piece of you sliced chicken and see if its already cooked inside very well like so.
Now when both the onion and chicken are good placed your already prepared sliced mushrooms with the onion and chicken
If you don't like the size of how your mushrooms are then just cut them in half with your spatula in half while its being cooked. Now when everything is cooking well now add your prepared rice if you put too much rice then it alright for now. After the rice is in the pot time to add the ketchup.
For me im using an old fashion Heinz Ketchup.
Now its time to stir them all together getting a nice reddish orange color like so.
Gaze at its wonderful color and look at how well its not even being burned at all.
If theirs any white rice left you can save it for any other time making a new meal.My fried rice is done and to see i scoup some up and actually lay it on my spatula to see it's thickness like so.
As any can see this is how the thickness of my own rice should be able to hod together if it falls apart then it won't be good for the next part. Use 1 tablespoon an put it in the 3 eggs and stir it.
Now at butter on to the pan all over thats on top of the pre heated stove.
Time to add the whisked eggs next when the eggs are on the pan shift it to get the agg all around the pan
Now the eggs are ready time to add the fried rice to the center of the egg then fold at the sides of the egg and revolve it as in flip it on the plate.
